In my previous pregnancies, I experienced significant swelling, leading me to believe it was an inevitable symptom. By week 30, my feet, hands, and face would become unrecognizably swollen. However, during this pregnancy, even my midwife remarked on my lack of swelling. It dawned on me then: “Wow, I’m not experiencing the same level of swelling as in my previous pregnancies.”
Upon reflection and careful observation of what I’ve done differently during this pregnancy, I’ve identified four factors that I believe have played a significant role in minimizing my swelling.
