In 2022, my husband and I faced an unimaginable loss when we lost our daughter at 16 weeks pregnant. The subsequent weeks brought a mix of emotions as I navigated the heart-wrenching process of birthing my baby, who had left us too soon. Two weeks later, a D&C was necessary to address lingering physical aspects.
This journey, filled with emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges, has reshaped my perspective on grief and healing.
In my daily quest for optimal health, one food that has become a non-negotiable part of my routine is the humble Brazil Nut. Packed with both flavor and a plethora of essential nutrients, these nuts have earned a permanent spot on my plate every single day.
My journey with Brazil Nuts began about three years ago, and since then, they’ve become a crucial element in fortifying my immune system. What initially caught my attention was their rich selenium content – a natural powerhouse that plays a pivotal role in maintaining a healthy thyroid gland function.
While it might be easy to overlook the importance of such a small nut, the impact on my well-being has been profound. There were periods in the past when I unintentionally skipped these nuts for weeks, only to realize the noticeable difference in how my body felt. It was then that I made a conscious decision to keep Brazil Nuts a consistent part of my daily routine.
These nuts are not just about selenium; they bring a diverse range of nutrients to the table, contributing to my overall health and vitality. Whether it’s supporting my immune system, aiding in thyroid function, or providing a delicious crunch to my meals, Brazil Nuts have proven to be a daily delight that I cherish for both taste and wellness benefits.
In essence, these nuts have become my daily companions, standing as a testament to the small but mighty choices we make in our journey toward a healthier and more vibrant life.
On January 13th, 2022, we found out at a routine doctor’s appointment that we lost our baby girl. I was 16 weeks pregnant and she was measuring at around 15-16 weeks. It appeared that her passing had happened recently based on her size.
I was told that I would need to go in and be induced that night to deliver her. I shared the entire story of my miscarriage and delivery experience here.
Two weeks after I had Giovi (January 27, 2022) was my checkup appointment. Going to the same doctor’s office where I was given the worst news of my life was very tough for me mentally.
I sat in the waiting room with my eyes filled with tears.
January 13th, 2022, what was supposed to be an ordinary baby doctor’s appointment, turned into the worst day of my life.
Woke up feeling pretty great that morning.
Me and my husband were always all smiles on baby doctor appointment day. We loved hearing her heartbeat and seeing her moving around.
